IML is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with Kin Sang Chemical Limited (KSC) and CVI Modern Technology Development Limited (CVI) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
This partnership brings together:
IML’s university-originated antimicrobial material R&D,
CVI’s expertise in material formulation, engineering and scalable production, and
KSC’s extensive global sales and supply-chain network directly connects brands and manufacturing clients.
Together, the three parties aim to develop environmentally friendly, non-toxic antimicrobial plastic materials that are 100% developed and manufactured in Hong Kong, demonstrating a full research-to-industry translation model.
The first results of this collaboration will be showcased internationally at CHINAPLAS 2026 (Shanghai) in the “Innovative Technology Products” zone, highlighting Hong Kong’s capability to integrate research excellence with advanced manufacturing.
This collaboration also reflects deeper cross-regional innovation exchange, translating academic research into market-ready solutions that support sustainable industrial upgrading.
At IML, we believe innovation only creates real impact when it is scalable, manufacturable, and adopted by the market. We look forward to working closely with our partners to bring advanced antimicrobial materials into real-world applications.
