Chief Executive of HKSAR – Mr. John LEE was impressed with how the technology could be applied on different environments to slow down the pandemic. Mr. LEE also commented that PolyU’s antiviral 3D printing technology should be heavily promoted to benefit the public and thus more Hong Kong citizens can take advantage of it since the effectiveness of our products is good for 3 years.

The 3-Nil project was led by PolyU Dr. Chris Lo, Home Affairs Department, Hong Kong Government and sponsored by Lam Kwun King Memorial Fund. The next phase of installations will involve secondary schools students from Sham Shui Po district. The project goal is to engage the next generations of Hong Kong to serve the underprivileged communities with creativity and technology.
