October 10, 2025, Hong Kong: A significant strategic investment signing ceremony was held at the Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office (KTEO) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Immune Materials Limited (IML), founded by the research team from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, officially announced the introduction of Central Glory Holdings (CGH) as a strategic investment partner, injecting new momentum into the company’s development.
This collaboration not only opens new market opportunities for IML’s proprietary IMU+® organic-based antibacterial raw material but also marks a deep consensus between the two companies in technological innovation and market expansion. CGH will leverage its extensive industry resources, introducing well-known supplier brands such as Polytech Leather and Xinxing Quartz Stone, to jointly explore new applications in antibacterial leather and stone materials.
Win-Win Partnership to Build a New Ecosystem for Antibacterial Materials
At the signing ceremony, Professor Chris K. Y. Lo, Chairman of Immune Materials Limited (IML), stated: “We are delighted to welcome Central Glory Holdings (CGH), a partner with both strength and experience, as our strategic investor. The company will focus on the antibacterial market for healthcare, infants, and the elderly in the future. CGH’s involvement will help us explore more diverse applications and markets. Hong Kong will continue to serve as the R&D headquarters and certification centre, with complementary strengths between Hong Kong and mainland China working in synergy.”
Mr. Stanley Chan, CEO of Central Glory Holdings (CGH), expressed confidence in the partnership: “We have great confidence in the IMU+® organic-based antibacterial raw material. We will assist IML in establishing a mainland subsidiary and expand the application of IMU+® from 3D printing materials to leather and stone materials. We also welcome other industry players to collaborate in developing the next generation of antibacterial materials.”
Technological Innovation Leading a New Direction for Health
Since its establishment in 2021 by Professors Chris K. Y. Lo and C. W. Kan from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Immune Materials Limited (IML) has been dedicated to research in healthcare sciences. The team successfully developed IMU+® organic-based, metal-free antibacterial material, which effectively eliminates bacteria, viruses, and fungi on surfaces, reducing the risk of infection and transmission.
Currently, 3D-printed products incorporating IMU+® have been successfully adopted in the Intensive Care Units of hospitals under the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, as well as in Hong Kong government offices and public spaces, safeguarding public health and safety. This innovative technology provides safer and healthier solutions for everyday life.
Strategic Layout for a Shared Future
Since its establishment in 2023, Central Glory Holdings (CGH) has adhered to its mission of “deeply engaging in Fujian, connecting with the world,” with operations spanning next-generation office spaces, regional trade, youth cultural tourism, and capital and incubation. This collaboration with IML is a key part of its strategic layout.
IML will continue to drive sustainable and healthy corporate development through technological innovation, refining production-sales integration, prioritising product quality, and pursuing a path of innovation-driven, resource-efficient, and environmentally friendly sustainable development. This partnership with CGH will further enhance the company’s market competitiveness.
Looking ahead, both parties will fully leverage their respective strengths to jointly advance the innovation and application of antibacterial material technologies, contributing more to global health initiatives.
